CATALYSING FINANCE, INVESTMENTS INTO NIGERIA’S AGRIBUSINESS SECTOR
Welcome2Africa International (W2A) is a private sector development company focused towards driving development into Africa’s agric sector and specialises in convening finance and investment professionals for the sole aim of driving and catalysing finance and investment into the sector. With the primary goal of catalysing finance investments worth 10 Billion Naira into the agribusiness sector, they have spearheaded this goal by relentlessly hosting summits with the next one being the Abuja session of the Back2Back Agri-finance series.
The Back2Back Agri finance training seeks to provide an intimate and interactive platform for financial institutions to discuss the basics and intricacies of various forms of innovative financing in the agribusiness sector among key players and investment/ finance experts.
In view of this, W2A is inviting you to participate at the Abuja session of the Back2Back Agri-finance series scheduled to hold as follows;

Islamic Finance - 5th December, 2018
This session would divulge how Blended finance which is the strategic use of development finance and philanthropic funds to mobilise private capital flows to emerging and frontier markets, resulting in positive results for both investors and communities; can transform the agricultural sector of Nigeria with benefits such as: Increasing capital leverage, enhancing impact, deliver risk-adjusted returns and more.
This further session would explore how Islamic Finance can be used to propagate economic development in Nigeria, particularly through its usage towards Agribusiness. Within this session the forum will explore whether the size of Islamic banking sector has anything to do in the finance-growth nexus.
